I spent a few days camping in the Appalachian Mountains. Before my trip, I made progress on two tracks. One of them is a bit of an oddity—it's a silly song, which wasn't what I was aiming for with this project. I had set it aside, but recently, I found a place for it on the album playlist. It's growing on me, and it might make the final cut.
The other track has a good ending vibe. A friend told me it reminded him of Goblin, which I'll take as a compliment and a sign that I'm on the right track.

(I was experimenting with some small pocket lights the one evening)
Camping was great with nice, cool weather. I had the chance to swim in a giant lake in the mountains while it was raining. I truly love being in the mountains in the rain.
